The BFEF spends over half of its annual budget on language support.

Each year, the BFEF hosts international teaching interns and hires local assistants. These people provide approximately 120 hours of classroom support per language program each week. International teaching interns and local aides provide cultural enrichment, language reinforcement, and small group intervention for students who need extra help meeting grade-level learning goals. BFEF purchases library books in all four target languages, and provides annual classroom supply budget for every single teacher .
