BFEF News and Upcoming Events
BFEF Green Team featured on local news!
The BFEF secured a $5,000 grant from our friends at Cigna to promote fresh produce and wellness by redoing our Learning Garden veggie beds and planting five new fruit trees on campus.
Thank you to Chris, John, Abby, and Monica - our Green Team Campus Caretakers - for pulling all the supplies together.
You can watch the coverage on local news here.
Parents’ Night Out and Auction
Meet and mingle with fellow parents/guardians at our casual night out and auction. Sponsor a teacher or intern’s ticket in honor of National Teacher Appreciation Week, or purchase a ticket for us to gift to an adult who may not be able to afford it.
Tacos, drinks, and a very mellow auction are part of the event. Carpooling or Lyft/Uber recommended. Tickets go on sale April first.
Campus Clean-Up
Help us get Franklin ready for the Theodore Payne Foundation Native Plant Garden Tour! We need help picking up trash, sweeping pathways, and getting any last weeds. Join us from 10am-12pm.
6th graders can earn community service hours. Bring a hat, water, and sunscreen. The cleanup will happen rain or shine!

The BFEF Science Fest is open to all grades. Projects must be registered by 4/3, and final projects are due April 14th. The Fest will be held on campus on April 28th.
